Careers: Internships

Unable to find an internship while in college, Tommy Aiello vowed he would provide students the opportunity to learn about this industry when he went into business. Since 1999 we visit South Fork High School once per year to speak to the Horticulture students. Since that time eight students have been through our internship program. Some starting as juniors and working part time in the afternoons and weekends. We also offer summer programs. An internship at Aiello Landscape Inc. offers students an excellent overview of the landscape industry. Over the course of your internship, you will rotate through all positions of the company. You will learn how to plant a tree, run a loader, stake a tree, ride with our truck drivers to pick up plants, visit nurseries to tag trees and palms, spend a day with our accountant, learn to design a project, estimating, sales, marketing, ride with our vice-president and president for a day, we show you it all.
